LiveLife Pharmacy CEO, Clint Coker, has been awarded Life Membership of the Pharmacy Guild of Australia during a Parliamentary Reception at Queensland Parliament House last Wednesday.

The event, hosted by the Guild’s Queensland Branch, brought together the Premier, Ministers, Shadow Ministers, Members of Parliament, industry leaders and community pharmacists from across the state.

Alongside the announcement of state finalists for the Guild’s National Pharmacy Awards, of which Luke Maclean was named a finalist for QLD Student Pharmacist of the Year, and LiveLife Pharmacy Laidley was named a finalist for QLD Community Pharmacy of the Year, the reception celebrated pharmacists who have demonstrated outstanding dedication and service to the profession by granting them Life Membership.

Recipients included: Clint Coker, Roslyn Brand, John Douglas, Tim Fitzpatrick, Rick Xynias, George Fotinos, Helen Owen, John Moffat, John Scott, Malcolm Anderson, Mark Browne, Neil Owen, and Terry Foote.

Branch President Chris Owen highlighted the significance of these contributions, noting that each Life Member has made a lasting difference to the Guild and the pharmacy sector.
